hm
i'm not that much of a fan of this whole blog mallarky, i got bored with it very quickly and only really update when i realise that i "should" maybe i'll try a livejournal or a jamesoff weblog or something instead... or maybe people will just have to ask me what i've been up to in person.

my birthday was nice. i went out the night before with some friends from when i was little to the pub which was nice, much giggling and acting like we were 14 again followed by a vary tastey kids meal from miss millies fried chicken... like KFC but cheaper and nearer to the pub we were at. on my birthday i did family stuff mostly as my aunt and uncle were down, had lemon and garlic chicken in the evening which was loverrrly, they made me a fantastic cake as well, there's a pic here. note the sun hat on one jelly baby and the dead ones washed up on the high tide line. anyway, that was an afternoons entertainment for everyone else while i was banished to my room *sob*. got loads of cool pressies including a clanger which is on my webcam at the moment but probably won't be for that much longer and my blink cam, it's o cool and it doesnt take bad pics. i'll put one up here sometime when i can be bothered.

this weekend i went to stay with peoples in exeter which was cool... we did warehouse as is to be expected and there are pics of the antics that followed here and here. it was generally a cool weekend type thing and now today i'm off up to coventry to visit my grandparents.

yesterday i got the coolest toy as well, i decided to spend my birthday money on this which is like monstarcool, i've played a few of the games and it's such a blash from the past, i still totally lose at pacman tho :/

anyhew, i'm supposed to be leaving in 18 minutes and i'm not dressed yet and i haven't had my first caffeine fix ofthe day so things are not good to go. i'll be back tonight sometime for anyone who wants to see me / talk to me / whatevar.

i suppose i should update this again or something.
not a lot has really happened, hence the nonupdateness of teh blog. work is still boring but will be coming to an end in a month or so, then i'll have a bit of time off and then really shift my arse into looking for a real job, temping is getting boring. got a call about a possibly maybe job somewhere in south wales... i sent off my cv and cd and now i'm waiting for the inevitable rejection.

3 day weekend coming up, and i'm taking tomorrow afternoon off as i'll have worked the maximum number of hours i'm allowed to. i think i'll go round town and see if there's anything cool to buy there, not that i can really afford to buy anything but there's nothing wrong with looking :P

i went training on tuesday and i hurt now, going to force myself to go again tomorrow though, FEEL TEH BURN$&*^£&*$^ i want to get suparl33t again and stuff.

back from florida on sunday. our plane landed at around 6:30 AM... none of us slept much on the plane due to it being a plane, the pillows we were given being stupidly small, screaming kids and the fact that it didn't feel anywhere near late enough for us to be sleeping. i got home by train which was fun, it took ages and i was feeling monstartired but i made it in the end, managed to stay up until about 9pm as well and then totally flaked out and slept for 15 hours... i had monday off work to recover a bit but it still sucked a fair bit going to work on tuesday morning.

the week at work went ok, it took me a day or so to get over the jetlag and then a few more days to get over the tiredness that the jetlag caused, i'm getting back to normal now.

got to start looking for a new job soon, looks like my present one will be disappearing soon so i need to look for something else.. maybe i should go for the career thing, or perhaps not, i'm not old enough to be that grown up :D

the pics for the florida trip can be seen here. mine will be online soon as well, they should be in the post on monday or i shall be vary displeased.. then i'll get them scanned and stuff. there are a few more pics in Dan's section but i can't be arsed with finding the exact url, find them yourself if you're that interested.

ANYWAY, i'm tired, i'm going to faff about a bit more and then probably go to bed. have a nice day.

i'm enjoying my weekend and not doing a huge amount, it's nice. yesterday i went into town and looked at swimming costume type things and they were all hideous. i was not amused. my new trainers were fairly comfy tho after monstarwalking so i think i made the right decision on them. casualty wasn't on in the evening which was terrible. altho it's not worth watching really now that charlie's almost never in it and the oof doctor got killed off *sigh* :)

i think today i will be mostly thinking about what i need to take to florida with me and how i'm going to squish it all into one bag :D
